As a company with a large footprint, we know we have a responsibility to be as environmentally proactive as possible. That’s why we choose to make better choices for our planet throughout every step of our services. Armstrong trucks that travel in and out of California are all compliant with California Air Resources Board (CARB) regulations, creating a proactive approach to reducing emissions that other states are expected to emulate in coming years. We are also reducing our use of paper significantly by replacing most hard copy files and documentation with technological streamlining processes.
Armstrong continues to improve our footprint by recycling all cardboard, packing materials, cans, bottles and other recyclable materials. On commercial projects, we use plastic crates in lieu of cardboard boxes and plastic tubs and carts that can be reused indefinitely, in lieu of wooden tubs and carts. Armstrong also dispatches crews, equipment and drivers in an efficient manner to better use fewer resources. With the switch to interior and exterior LED lights throughout multiple warehouse locations, which can last up to 25% longer than conventional light bulbs, Armstrong is looking to potentially cut its warehouse energy consumption by over 80%.

My closing was screwed up and my move had to be changed with short notice, they changed my date, no problem, stored my house items for 3 days and then moved me into my new place. United made every aspect of my move effortless. They conducted a video meeting to view my belongings for the estimate, and gave me a fair rate. Our mover was Mike. He was so great throughout the entire process! He kept us informed, took excellent care of our belongings from start to finish and was very kind and professional. He exceeded our expectations and we would be happy to refer him and United to our family and friends. Special Recognition: Mike the crew lead, he was so great from the moment he stepped foot in our home to the minute he left after delivery. He was so professional and informative and never left us in the dark about anything!! His crew members were also great but we were overly impressed with Brian I believe was his name, the man who helped unload our belongings in Michigan. He was fast but careful and he and Mike seemed to work together flawlessly as a team. Cris was our contact person and guided us throughout the entire process by answering all of questions and putting us at ease. Raymond and his team did an outstanding job packing our belongings and understanding our needs. Jason and his team Rex, Chase, Carlos and a few names I forgot sorry were the best. Communicated with us throughout focused on the job and no nonsense workers very professional hardworking came in and got the job done. I even inquired if we could hire them again for our next move within a year but unfortunately it won't be out of town a local move. I was impressed with the professionalism and desire to satisfy the customer shown by each representative of United, including the sales representative, the logistics point-of-contact, and the driver. As stressful as a move such as this can be, United did everything possible to allay my stress at a Covid-19 point in time. I was especially impressed when the driver called a week after I moved-in to see how my mom and I were doing with the unpacking.
